A development of our highly successful MB12 Verticrane, the new MB24X sports the same triangular cross-section and guide rail arrangement, making for a smooth and robust camera crane. With clever engineering, we have managed to make the new MB24X 200kg lighter in fully loaded form than our standard MB24. The 3-point guide rail section support, giving it unique stiffness. The MB24X is equipped with a new foldable base, allowing it to go through narrow openings, and with its low turning radius to be positioned in tight spaces. The bases’ articulated arms allow them to be used on standard dolly tracks of 100cm and 62cm in width. The new MB24 X with its light weight, high load and reach capabilities and highly maneuverable base, makes it ideal for the broadcasting and film markets.

– Leveling head with over-slung and under-slung capability, with electronically adjustable
offset. The leveling head can be equipped with optional MovieBird gyroscopic leveling add-on with true horizon (GLA)

The MB24X crane can be equipped with MovieBird Straight Line Compensation
[SLC] electronic control box:
– automatic compensation of the arc generated by the movement of the arm
in both the vertical and horizontal axes
– programmable electronic end stops (arm limits)
– adjustable speed and damping of the telescopic arm movement
– Touchscreen display for SLC programming and displaying arm status
and settings

MovieBird 24X can also be equipped with our encoder-based MovieBird
camera tracking system which can be integrated with industry-standard
AR/Virtual studio systems.
